Under the title »If you want to get something done, don't do it without advice«, the exhibition explores various questions: Where did Dresden's first town hall stand? Why is the town hall from 1910 still called the New Town Hall after more than 100 years? And what advice does the town hall lion, Dresden's heraldic animal, still have for the 21st century? The exhibition provides answers to these and many other questions in nine themed islands. In words and pictures as well as with some objects presented for the first time, it reports on what is known, forgotten and rediscovered - and thus offers plenty of material for new insights, but also for new questions.
An exhibition organised by the City of Dresden, Office for Press, Public Relations and Protocol, the Dresden City Archive and the Dresden City Museum.
