The exhibition provides in-depth information and unusual insights into the Torah - into its traditional tradition and the manual and ritualised writing process. It opens up direct access to the practice of Torah writing and the five books of Moses in the field of tension between religious interpretation, written culture and cultural-historical development. The presentation shows how writing establishes order and forms meanings over long periods of time.
