In 2024, Johanna Strobel set herself the task of translating the life story of the Danish artist and trans* woman Lili Elbe (Veilje, 1882-1931, Dresden) into fashion. During her studies in costume design at the Dresden University of Fine Arts, she designed two costumes based on historical images. The show outlines the path from idea to realisation and also takes a look at Lili Elbe's biography.
